Elf Eyebrow Kit

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone.
Today I am going to share with you one of my most favourite product from Eyes Lips Face or E.l.f, the Eyebrow Kit. For those of you who don't know, E.l.f is a makeup brand from US and this brand is popular due to the cheap price and good quality products. I mean their products are sold for $1, $3, $5 etc. Although there are some hits and misses, that is only normal for every other makeup brands.

Last October, I purchased several E.l.f products from iherb and after using the products for 5 months now, I have found some favourite among them. For today, I am going to talk about, the Eyebrow Kit.

This kit comes in 4 shade (Light, Medium, Dark and Ash). Mine is in the shade Medium. It comes with a mirror, duo brush applicator, wax (the darker shade) and powder. It weight around 3.5g. This kit is from the Studio Line. There are 3 lines from E.l.f; Essential,Studio and Mineral Line. Essential line products are usually retail at $1 while Studio Line is around $3, $5, etc and comes with black packaging.

Some caption from E.l.f website:
"Create brows that are fuller, thicker, and more defined! The pigmented wax defines and shapes brows and the color complementing setting powder keeps them looking arched and perfected. The doubled sided taklon brush has one side to help arch your brows while the other side aids in filling them in. This duo provides lasting color definition for a naturally beautiful look."

I bought this for $3 which is around RM11 in Malaysian currency. Cheap, yes and it does the job well. The pigmentation is quite good. As you can see in the below swatches.

I usually use the wax to draw and fill my eyebrow and the powder to set the wax.  Which is why I ended up using the wax more than the powder. However these days I opt for a more simpler look so I use the powder side only whenever I go to work or if I wear minimal makeup.

Oh yeah, I don't use the duo brush applicator in the kit, instead,  I use my Real Techniques Brow Brush to apply the wax and powder. By the way, the E.l.f Maximum Coverage Concealer in the above picture is another one of my favourite. I shall review that later. I can't really compare with other eyebrow kit because I only have this one eyebrow kit, but for RM11. I am very satisfy.

I actually did have plan to re-purchase this, probably in a different shade but since iherb postage cost has increased, I will probably buy from another brand later on.

So, that is all for now. See ya. =)
